DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As a Corrections Stock Clerk for the Department of Corrections, you handle the receipt, storage, distribution, and inventory control activities for a variety of stock items and supplies for SCI, Camp Hill.
You are responsible for inventorying stock and receiving, storing, and issuing supplies and raw materials. You also train and monitor inmate workers in the receipt, storage, distribution, and inventory control activities for a variety of stock items and supplies. In addition, you prepare routine reports and operate motor vehicles, fork lifts, or hand trucks to move oversized or heavy items, remove scrap materials, or make deliveries.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment, 40-hour work week.
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.
- This position is eligible for full retirement benefits at age 50 or 55.

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year of stockroom, warehouse, retail sales, or clerical experience; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
- Must possess a valid PA non commercial Class C driver's license which is currently not under suspension.
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
- You must pass a background investigation.
