As a Seasonal Stock Clerk 1, you will be primarily responsible for the storeroom operations of ordering, maintaining inventory, issuing, transferring, receiving materials and supplies, and the distribution of commodities which are warehoused in storage for the County Maintenance Office of the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation. The materials & supplies are to be maintained at inventory levels efficient enough to provide an uninterrupted flow of needs to PennDOT internal and external customers. In this position, you will also utilize technology such as computer software, as well as interact by telephone or in person with internal and external customers of PennDOT in a customer friendly manner, and identify the nature of their needs so they can be directed to the correct personnel.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

• Full-time seasonal employment. These is a seasonal position lasting from Sept-April, but there may be promotional opportunities.
• Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
• Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

• Graduation from high school; or
• Any equivalent combination of experience and training.

Additional Requirements:

• You must be able to perform essential job functions.
