Corrections Registered Nurse (RN)

Supplemental Health Care is a nationally recognized healthcare staffing provider, partnering with a Correctional facility in New Haven, CT in search of a Registered Nurse (RN).

Location: New Haven, CT

Setting: Correctional facility

Shift Days/Hours:

8a-8p or 8p-8a - 12 hour pick up shifts available

$2,196 - $2,361 per week

Contract details:

13-weeks with the option to extend

Start dates: 2-weeks after the offer

Minimum 1 year of RN experience

Preferred corrections experience

Correctional Nurses are responsible for the performance of essential nursing duties including the execution of physician orders, operation of pill call, operation of sick call, med pass, and assisting the physician in examinations and treatments and performing technical/clinical procedures within the scope of their license.

RN license in the state of employment
Must have graduated from an approved school of nursing
Minimum 1 year of recent clinical experience
IV Certified (preferred)
BLS AHA Certification
Valid Driver’s License
Facility clearance/background consent/drug screening before start
