SalaryThis position performs a variety of activities pertaining to the County Correctional Center Facilities in accordance with established policies, regulations, and procedures. The Correctional Officer performs those prescribed tasks such as supervising and directing inmates, patrolling assigned areas, escorting, preparing reports, inspecting property, preventing disturbances, etc. Assignments may entail serving as a Booking Officer. The Correctional Officer answers to the Detention Center Director.
