Correctional Officers perform security-related tasks in the institution they are assigned. They direct and monitor inmate behavior, counsel inmates, conduct personal searches and may transport inmates to/from other institutions, medical facilities, county jails, etc.
*The starting pay rate is $33.00 per hour with generous pay progressions. All add-on pay is eligible for time and a half premium overtime pay for all regular hours over 40 per week.
