Corporate Treasury Intern

What you'll do:
The Corporate Treasury function is critical to the success of Western Alliance Bank. Treasury is an expansive function whose responsibilities include liquidity and funds management, interest rate risk management, and capital management. The internship is designed to benefit students in their Junior year of college and will be accomplished in a rotation format to cover key areas of Treasury. Your training will primarily consist of on-the-job training and group projects. The internship is intended to be multi-semester with approximately 15-20 hours per week of work time.
Following successful completion of the Internship, you will be considered for a role in Treasury as an Analyst in one of our functional areas. Here's how you'll spend your time:
• Developing analytical tools to extract and analyze information.
• Participate in special projects, present data, analyze outcomes, draw conclusions, and make recommendations when required.
• Engage in "real-world" projects that challenge and develop your skills.
• Assist with developing reports that are reviewed by Senior Management.
• Build relationships with managers, mentors, and peers.

- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite
