Corporate Trainer

Corporate Trainer is responsible for evaluating, designing, coordinating and facilitating the Company's learning and development programs to enhance the organization's performance and achieve strategic goals and objectives.  This position is onsite in Ocala, Florida.

Corporate Trainer responsibilities and essential job functions include, but are not limited to the following:

• Design, develop and implement dynamic and effective learning solutions that are virtual and instructor-led
• Utilize adult learning principles to design, create and develop learning solutions to meet learning objectives and accommodate a variety of learning styles
• Provide feedback, where appropriate, to departments to ensure full compliance with established procedures and processes
• Facilitate engaging learning solutions that produce the desired outcomes in responding to the learners' needs
• Design and customize program materials, including facilitator guides, participant workbooks, presentations and job aids; Research and customize new learning solutions, not limited to instructor-led and online learning modules
• Consult with business partners across the organization to define and develop learning strategies and plans to build organizational capabilities
• Work with subject matter experts (SME) on job/department-specific training to ensure program consistency; Assess programs for effectiveness and initiate improvement plans where necessary
• Conduct evaluations and assessments to analyze current training methods for future program development
• Maintain accurate training records, generating training reporting as needed
• Manage deliverables to ensure on-time delivery and on-budget execution

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Bachelor's degree in Organizational Development, Adult Education, Training or related field preferred
• 3+ years previous experience in Training and Development or related role, or equivalent combination of education and related work experience 
• 3+ years previous experience in delivery and facilitation of training in a classroom and virtual setting preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong presentation skills
• Adept using a Learning Management System (LMS) and multimedia training platforms
• Knowledge of Adult Learning Theory and ADDIE Model for instructional design 
• Ability to evaluate and research training options and alternatives
• Ability to design and implement effective trainings, keeping various learning styles in consideration
• Must be driven with the ability to work independently
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and related program software
• Ability to travel when required
