As a Corporate Sustainability Apprentice, you will join a team of accomplished Sustainability professionals to assist in the development, implementation, and tracking of sustainability initiatives.

This position will be part-time (up to 10 hours per week) and can be worked remotely or out of any of our Jack Henry office locations. This position pays $22.00/hour and has a start date of May 2024. The position may continue through the academic year depending on funding and performance.


What you’ll be responsible for:

  • Research and analyze sustainability best practices and industry trends
  • Assist in the development and implementation of sustainability initiatives and programs
  • Help monitor and report on sustainability metrics and key performance indicators
  • Assist in creating educational materials and outreach efforts to raise awareness about sustainability efforts
  • Creating compelling research presentations/briefings for executives and business units.


What you’ll need to have:

  • Currently enrolled at an accredited university.
  • Pursuing a bachelor’s or graduate degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, or a related field.
  • An identified graduation date of 2025 or 2026.
  • Meet legal requirements to work in the U.S. for an indefinite period without any sponsorship.
  • What would be nice for you to have:
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to self-direct and manage projects, interact and build relationships across the organization at different levels of seniority.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Ability to analyze, evaluate, and form independent judgments and think creatively.
  • Basic understanding of the FinTech industry.
