Position Summary
The Corporate Security Specialist will be responsible for the daily operation of the company's security protocols and systems designed to safeguard employees, customers, and operations.
What You'll Do
- Conduct investigations into threats and crimes against employees and company assets.
- Assist in the implementation of the company's security protocols and response at all company locations.
- Assist with the management of contract guards.
- Assist in the daily operation of the Rosemont Security Room.
- Assist in the administration of corporate badging and access control.
- Conducting security assessments of Wintrust properties and producing summary reports.
- Completing detailed reports on physical security related issues and incidents.
- Monitoring the company's physical security controls and incident response.
- Managing and implementing the utilization of security related software services and systems (Everbridge, S2, Command Client, etc.).
Qualifications/Skills
- 3-5 years of experience working in law enforcement, Corporate Security, or similar discipline.
- Associates Degree or equivalent.
- Ability to multitask and apply security protocols in rapidly evolving scenarios.
- Solid verbal and written communications skills with the ability to quickly and accurately convey incident information to decision makers.
- Experience operating complex CCTV systems, access control, two-way radios and security software services.
- Experience in emergency response and dispatch.
- Strong tactical analytical skills, i.e. the ability to gather information on an incident and quickly form logical conclusions.
- Experience tracking and producing reports on security related incidents.
- Ability to collaborate with security vendors and other business units.
Preferred Skills
- BS/BA degree in a public safety or security related discipline or equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of law enforcement experience (patrol, dispatch, support) or Corporate Security experience working in a command center.
- Demonstrates strong knowledge of security technologies and systems.
- Extensive experience with Everbridge mass notification and critical event management or similar mass notification system.
- Extensive experience with Lenel/S2 access control or similar system.
