Corporate Facilities Director and Shopping Center Facility Manager
Monitor and effectively facilitate the daily operations of the facilities department to provide general Maintenance and repair for all Briad owned restaurants and hotels.
- This position is 50 - 75% field based, and requires daily travel to various locations/states.
- This position manages the facilities for the Clifton Shoppes, as well as the maintenance department serving our Wendy's and hotel locations
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Knowledge in general construction, HVAC, refrigeration, electrical repair, and plumbing
- Business communication and Management skills – relate to, communicate, and motivate employees to sustain high performance and quality measures, appropriately communicate using memos, letters, email, reports, etc.
- Project management – identify project goals, set, and manage schedule, manage budget, anticipate, and identify issues, delineate responsibility, track task completion, communicate project progress, and submit capital expenditures for approval when required
- Supervise and develop Exempt and Non-Exempt employees
- Monitor company spare parts, company owned tools, and company assets; including, but not limited to, the warehouse and fleet of vans
- Review and monitor maintenance related invoices to ensure accuracy
- Review work requests for accuracy and appropriate use of capital funds
- Manage internal operating budget; provide input to the budgetary cycle for capital improvements by region and store
- Identify trends in facility conditions and recommend future improvements
- Research new products and cost improvements
- Develop sources of supply (service, maintenance, etc.) to maintain facilities
- Identify, negotiate, and monitor service contracts
- Develop strategies for maintenance programs
- Provide information to regions, at all levels, concerning project status and capital usage
- Coordinate outside vendor services
- Be able to address and abate all violations
- Prepare all employee performance reviews
- Knowledge of Shopping Center and tenants, to provide support where needed.
Job Requirements
- High School education or equivalent
- Must have a safe driving record
- Ability to answer and act upon emergency calls that can occur anytime of day or night, including nights, weekends, holidays, etc.
