Job Summary:
Under general supervision, this position is responsible for overseeing and performing electric system installations at the NWA campus. The incumbent will act as a subject matter expert for electrical systems and their maintenance. Incumbent must be able to work any shift to satisfy the demand for flexibility of scheduling to ensure operational success. This includes, but is not limited to, day shifts, night shifts, weekend shifts and/or holidays if needed.
Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to determine the layout of electrical systems
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot faulty wiring
  • Test generators and other backup systems
  • Ensure compliance with Occupation Safety and health Administration (OSHA) and other applicable standards
  • Check for and deploy upgrades of electrical components
  • Maintain documentation of electrical issues and prepare reports to present to stakeholders
  • Facilitate orders of needed electrical components
  • Coordinate and monitor third party contractor work
  • Understand and remain updated on all electrical codes, standards, and regulations applicable to their work, as well as safety procedures
  • Oversee maintenance of building electrical systems and central utility plant
  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
  • 21 years of age with Commercial Journeyman Electrician license (must be able to present license)
  • AND Demonstration of the following skills and abilities through education, certifications, military, or other experiences
  • Non-commercial drivers license with ability to pass background check
  • Must possess a valid medical certification
  • Must possess a motor vehicle record that meets JBH standards
  • Must possess ability to work outdoors, in the elements, or across multiple shifts including nights, weekends, and/or holidays if needed

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of Commercial Journeyman Electrician experience
  • Medium voltage certification
  • Experience with appliance installations
  • Ability to fulfill physical requirements (lift/move appliance up to 100 pounds)
  • Ability to wear appropriate work attire (bump cap, footwear, gloves)
  • Effective Communication Skills (written and verbal)
  • Experience in customer service
  • Knowledge of local electrical codes
  • Proficient with hand tools and power tools
  • Willingness to travel in the Northwest Arkansas area
  • Willingness to work flexible workdays and hours
  • Experience with building construction and/or remodels
  • Experience with the management and maintenance of PDU systems, UPS, systems, ATS, and backup power generators
  • Ability to troubleshoot electrical issues
  • Knowledge of management and maintenance for central utility plant (C.U.P.); linesman training preferred
  • Ability to collaborate with local electrical companies on substation inspection and power distribution, and its effect on the corporate campus
  • Experience with energy conservation and energy savings

Compensation:
Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include skills, education, experience, geography, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position may be eligible for annual bonus and incentives based on profitability or volumes in accordance with the terms of the Company's bonus and incentive plans, as applicable and in effect from time to time.
