Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and talented Executive Chef to join our team. As the Executive Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our culinary operations. This includes menu planning, food production, food handling, budgeting, training of personnel, product purchasing, and ensuring the highest quality of food and service. Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement menus that meet the needs and preferences of our customers
- Oversee all aspects of food production, including preparation, cooking, and presentation
- Ensure that all food is prepared in accordance with health and safety regulations
- Manage inventory and control costs to maximize profitability
- Train and supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support as needed
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and excellent customer service
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and innovations in order to continuously improve our menu offerings
Experience:
- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or similar role in the food industry. 8+ years of experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food management principles, including menu planning, inventory control, and cost management
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Extensive experience in food production and handling techniques
- Culinary degree or equivalent certification is preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
