Job Description
We are seeking a Corporate Accountant-Billing Specialist to join our Finance team. We are looking for an experienced Billing Specialist who is interested in growing their accounting career. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Oversee time reporting since our billing is based on time
Communicate monthly deadlines to entire staff
Follow-up on unreported time
Clean up incorrectly reported time
Run monthly time reports
Manage billing process
Import monthly time into excel-based client billing spreadsheets
Support client teams with any questions regarding billing
Prepare bills as necessary
Prepare annual updates to billing rates and spreadsheets
Manage collections
Account for all client payments
Monitor Accounts Receivable Aging Report
Communicate delinquencies
Prepare monthly reports that quantify realization, capacity and efficiency
Assist with other corporate finance projects as needed
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required
1-2 years corporate accounting experience preferred
Experience with any of the following preferred: QuickBooks Enterprise, Quickbooks Online, Salesforce and Bill.com
Proficient in all Microsoft Office programs
Specifically creating pivot tables, Vlook-ups and creating reports in Excel

Location
This position offers flexibility in terms of location. It can be 100% remote if the candidate resides beyond a commutable distance from one of our five office locations. However, if the candidate is within a commutable distance to one of our office locations, this role will be offered as a hybrid opportunity, allowing for a combination of remote and in-office work after a 120-day training/onboarding period.
Compensation & Benefits
The salary range for this role will be between $65,000-$70,000. (Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skills, experience, and qualification for the role.)
