Job Responsibilities:
- Works without risk or harm to self or others
- Ability to understand and apply verbal and written work and safety-related instructions and procedures
- Safely operate both on and off-road vehicles
- Complete and submit notes, reports, timesheets, and any other documents required in legible handwriting or typed format on time
- Properly use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required
- Recognize, control, and communicate safety or environmental hazards
- Other duties assigned by management
- Geologic mapping
- Data entry validation
- Ore routing and tracking
- Weekly summary reports of work conducted during the rotation and notable geology encountered
- Other job duties assigned by management
- On-the-job training for tasks will be provided.
- B.S. in Geology required
- High level of energy, self-motivation, and strong organizational skills
- Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs. throughout the day
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
- Surface MSHA required
- Valid driver's license required
