A leading investment bank is seeking a strong Core Java Developer to work in a small development team focused on a prime brokerage client connectivity platform.

Responsibilities

• Analysis, design and development of features of low latency applications
• Development of new features, enhancements and bug fixes for a client connectivity application
• Development and/or enhancement of tools, processes and procedures
• As needed, second/third line support of the system

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Core Java development experience
• 3+ years LINUX usage for development and operation
• 3+ years experience with Bash scripting
• Some exposure to electronic trading and financial markets desired
• FIX development experience desired
