Coordinator, Synch Licensing
Your primary mission as Coordinator, Synch Licensing is effectively handling the high volume Synch Licensing administration process, which involves supporting both the clearance/negotiation and license issuance staff by reviewing, entering, auditing and preparing confirmed Synch Licensing deals into our BMG Songs internal licensing system for the team's synch pipeline queue. This role is has an administrative focus on data integrity, as well as interconnectedness across departments from copyright and creative admin to accounts receivable, finance and royalties. What You'll Be Doing.
- Auditing and maintaining the data integrity of our centralized licensing system via tracking and uploading of cue sheets and licensing backup, updating internal notes, supporting synch income recovery efforts, and handling general data maintenance including data entry support for specific clearance colleague(s).
- Entering and preparation of confirmed licensing dal terms in BMG songs internal synch database
- Monitoring centralized and shareable hub of license request documents to be entered in BMG songs
- Monitoring the general Synch Licensing inbox and responding to or delegating inquiries received
- Collaborate with the licensing team on synch outstanding payment follow ups and expired quote follow ups.
- Assist creative Synch team by logging licenses as 'procured pitch' as needed
- Updating internal contractual approval party information
Must-Haves
- Previous experience in or an understanding of Synch Licensing from either a music publisher, record label, music clearance company, production company, film/tv studio, network, and music supervisor, etc..
- Proficiency with Microsoft and familiarity with Adobe Acrobat is a plus
- Bachelors degree is a plus but not essential
- Intermediate understanding od synchronization, music publishing and copyright

Pay Range
$47,000 - $53,500 per annum
The pay range listed above is dependent upon factors such as work experience, qualifications and business needs. In addition to the range above, this role is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus and applicable benefits listed above.
