Position: Coordinator, Social Impact and Foundation

Position Summary:

This position requires a driven, proactive, energetic, problem-solving, team-spirited individual, who will support all aspects of Seattle Kraken’s Social Impact and Foundation team.

This role is based on-site in our Seattle office and requires work to be performed in person. However, we do value flexibility as the business will allow, and offer occasional opportunities to work from home.


Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Coordination of One Roof Foundation’s Anchor Auction program and Tidal Shift Auction, including:
    • Auction ideation and procurement
    • Game night execution
    • Financial tracking and reporting
    • Marketing & frequency identification
    • Givesmart platform management and site building
    • Customer management on game days and post-auction
  • Coordination of One Roof Foundation’s Mystery Puck Program including:
    • Puck design ideation
    • Game night execution
    • Financial tracking and reporting
  • Coordination of One Roof Foundation’s Social Media and Website, including:
    • Content ideation, creation, storytelling, and publication for One Roof Foundation channels
    • Collaboration with other internal and external departments when applicable
    • Live coverage of community events
  • Coordination of One Roof Foundation’s Newsletter, including:
    • Collecting relevant articles, videos, in-game fundraisers and other
    • Working with communication team on page layout, links, images etc.
    • Lead or support community events as requested
  • Maintain good attendance and punctuality
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Experience & Qualifications:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with an expert ability to present and communicate new ideas and concepts.
  • Extremely organized and detail oriented, resourceful, quick learner and able to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • A high degree of personal integrity and consistently put the interests of the organization first.
  • Must be a fierce communicator and cross-organizational collaborator.

Total Rewards Package:

Compensation:

In accordance with Washington’s Equal Pay and Opportunity Act, the expected pay rate for this position is $24/hr. The full range for this position is $23.50-$26/hr. Actual base pay will depend on employee’s experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.

Working Conditions:

  • Based on-site in our Seattle office and requires work to be performed in person.
  • Minimal Travel (<10% travel): May be required to travel. Trips may require air travel and/or overnight stay away from home for one or more nights.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule inclusive of weekends, nights and holidays required
  • Frequent bending, lifting 15-20 pounds, sitting, exposure to multiple external elements, extensive walking through the building including inclines and stairs.
