Job Description
FUNCTION
The Coordinator of Program Evaluation position is responsible for enhancing culture and capacity, managing systems and working with Ali Forney Center program teams to ensure long-term programs effectiveness and overall organizational impact.
TOP RESPONSIBILITIES
Enhancing culture and capacity
- Engaging with program staff to understand their evaluation and data needs
- Reviewing and updating programmatic logic models with agency leadership
- Supporting staff as they work to input client data; ensuring timely, complete, and accurate data entry via regular staff training and maintenance procedures
- Leading quarterly meet-ups for contract-funded staff, to review benchmarks and goals met to-date
- Designing, modifying, and overseeing the administration of data collection instruments, including intake assessments and reassessments, as well as the client satisfaction survey and focus groups; creating or amending existing tools to better align with desired program outcomes
- Compiling and disseminating the annual Fierce Facts report, on process outcomes; presenting findings to executive leadership and all staff
- Creating other monthly, quarterly, and annual reports as necessary, summarizing the totality of the organization's data across all existing metrics; working with the development team to produce high quality impact reports for internal and external stakeholders
- Assist in designing and conducting process and outcome Program Evaluation projects in partnership with higher education partners
Managing systems
- Leading weekly client chart QA, and all internal and external chart audit requirements
- Managing databases including but not limited to: AWARDS (HUD), AIRS (DOH), SPARS (SAMHSA), JustGrants (OVC); increasing data system usage among program staff and leadership
- Supporting systems enhancement, including migration to new platforms when necessary, with AFC’s technical support team (Computer Orange)
- Oversee and facilitate trainings of new and existing data systems
- Program planning an initiative to collect data from AFC alumni
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

[ ] Vocational Training
[ X ] Undergraduate Degree
[] Masters Degree
Undergraduate Degree, or 5 years experience, in Social Work, Public Health, Public Administration, Social Research, Non-Profit Management or related field required.
TECHNICAL SKILL REQUIREMENTS
Computer knowledge and competent writing skills.

PREFERRED QUALITIES
The Coordinator of Program Evaluation must be knowledgeable in research science, evaluation design, data collection, and data analysis. Knowledge of standardized assessment tools is required. Experience working with the adolescent/young adult population and knowledge of street-involved LGBTQ youth is preferred. Transgender & gender non-conforming people are encouraged to apply.
