Job Description
Nevada State University invites applications for the position of Coordinator of Campus Recreation. The Coordinator of Campus Recreation will work to provide high quality Campus Recreation/student life related activities for the student body to engage in while also serving as a conduct hearing officer.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Outdoor Adventure Series including hiking, kayaking, camping, etc.
• Fitness Center Operations and Programming.
• Intramural and eSports Programming.
• Plan and Execute Office of Student Life Events.

Secondary Responsibilities:

• Adjudicate allegations of violations of the Nevada State University Student Code of Conduct.
• Manage the Engagement Platform for Student Life.
• Serve as a secondary Advisor to Student Government (NSSA).

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree.
• At least one year of experience serving students.
• Knowledge of student development theory.
• Knowledge of Outdoor Activities and Fitness Center operations with particular emphasis on safety and crisis response.
• Ability to cultivate relationships with campus constituents.
• Ability to effectively communicate with diverse audiences.
• Ability to mentor/coach student leaders to produce effective results.
• Ability to fairly adjudicate complex alleged violations of the Student Code of Conduct.
• Ability to provide administrative support to functional areas as necessary.
• Eligibility to work in the United States without sponsorship (Nevada State does not sponsor employment-related visas).

Salary & Benefits
Budgeted salary for this position is $56,100.00. Nevada State University offers excellent benefits, including 17.50% retirement match, 24 annual leave days, beginning balance of 30 sick leave days, 12 paid holidays, educational benefits, and three health insurance plans that can be supplemented with flexible spending accounts or health savings accounts.
