Florida Atlantic University is seeking a Coordinator, Graduate Admissions Exec Ed. - Boca Raton, FL.
This position will be operated and managed from the College of Business - Office of Executive Education department and will serve as a direct liaison between the Graduate College Office, College of Business, and Office of Executive Education. Assists the College of Business and inter-institutional groups in resolving specific admission and academic support services problems and in disseminating information in regard to SUS/university rules, policies, and contracts. Collects and analyzes data as appropriate.
Summary of Responsibilities include:
  • Coordinate regular communication with the College of Business and Graduate College (GC) to ensure efficient and compliant processing of College of Business (COB) applications and related documents.
  • Serve as an admissions liaison between the College of Business and the Graduate College and serve as a point of contact for prospective and current students, faculty, and staff for all business program-related inquiries.
  • Ensure timely review of graduate business applications received, accurate verification of information in the student information system (Banner), and prompt communication with applicants who have missed application deadlines or as needed for other reasons.
  • Ensure timely data entry related to College of Business graduate applications, transcripts, and test scores is completed accurately, in a timely manner, and according to University policy as stated in the FAU Course Catalog.
  • Ensure the timely review of transcripts and test scores in order to refer completed and compliant admissions applications to the department for review and decision-making.
  • Ensure the referral of College of Business applications to the Graduate College for a final decision is completed in a timely manner.
  • Ensure the timely and compliant processing of all admission decisions (Form 4), withdraws (Form 15), and change of major/concentration (Form 16), for College of Business students.
  • Ensure efficient and compliant record keeping including scanning of admissions documents into OnBase for all College of Business applications.
  • Coordinate regular team meetings between GC and COB with the goal of promoting and maintaining efficiency in the graduate application process.
  • Serve as liaison with OIT for matters related to COB applicant records.
  • Troubleshoot admission issues to facilitate an orderly and timely admissions process for COB.
  • Provide general office support if requested in other areas i.e., program management and academic advising.
  • Works Hours may include some evenings and weekends to properly staff the operations of the programs.
  • Perform other job-related duties that might arise (not explicitly outlined herein) to maintain an orderly and timely admissions process.

Minimum Qualifications:
Master's degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate area of specialization; or a bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in the appropriate area of specialization and two years of appropriate experience required.
Demonstrate ability to work independently, prioritize work, and independently manage multiple, diverse, and competing priorities while meeting deadlines required
Excellent written and oral communication skills are required.
Ability to work under pressure while delivering quality work in deadline situations required.
Salary:
$65,000 - $70,000 per year.
