Summary: The Employer Relations Coordinator supports the mission of Greenheart International by recruiting premier placement opportunities and providing quality services, communication, and programming to Department of State’s BridgeUSA programs, specifically the Summer Work Travel host organizations and supporting program participants. This position collaborates with other recruiters within the Recruitment Department and with other Departments to achieve enrollment goals and to maintain quality standards.

Greenheart encompasses three main branches: Greenheart Exchange, Greenheart Travel, and Greenheart Shop.
The Recruitment Department will oversee sales efforts to recruit various stakeholders in the Department of State BridgeUSA programs, as well as individual travelers on Greenheart’s outbound programs. Stakeholders include program participants (ranging from teens to adults), host organizations, host schools, host families, and local coordinators.
What we’re looking for:
The ideal candidate should have some prior sales experience with proven track record of meeting sales goals. They should be motivated by sales goals, while staying within the compliance perimeter and regulatory standards. They should be able to research the various stakeholders and industries. In a fast-paced working environment, the ability to oversee multiple projects and deadlines is essential in this role. They should be outgoing, organized, and flexible with changing priorities. Successful candidates will have excellent customer service skills and be able to relate to people of all backgrounds and beliefs.
Some things you may do as an Employer Relations Coordinator:
- Develop partnerships with new host organizations in preferred industries.
- Execute and contribute to creating sales strategies to recruit the following stakeholders: Summer Work Travel (host organizations)
- Conduct industry research and oversee lead generating activities, including trade show participation, online inquiry tracking, and strategic marketing
- Coordinate continued customer service efforts over the life of all accounts and provide support to the host organization contacts, as needed
- Collaborate the seamless transition of accounts to Account Management/host organization contacts, including being responsible for employer files in proprietary database from initial to this pass-off stage
- Possible Account Management of selective placements
- Meet all individual and shared departmental goals
- Carry the emergency phone and follow all Greenheart emergency phone procedures as assigned
Some qualifications you should have:
- Minimum of Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience highly preferred
- Experience managing data and working with databases
- At least two years of sales experience required, preferably in a non-profit setting
- Customer service experience is a must, including proven experience in resolving conflicts and managing sensitive situations
- Experience managing a high volume of emails and telephone calls
- Exceptional time management and organization skills
- Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work with a diverse group of stakeholders
- Tech-savvy, proficient with Microsoft Office Suite; SalesForce experience is a plus
- Experience studying, volunteering, or working outside the U.S., and/or experience working in a multicultural and/or multilingual environment
Compensation: Commensurate with experience
