```Duties``` - Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, and presentation guidelines - Assist in the preparation of ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, cutting meat, and gathering spices - Operate kitchen equipment such as grills, ovens, fryers, and microwaves - Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, utensils, and dishes - Follow proper food handling and safety procedures to ensure the health and safety of customers and staff - Maintain inventory of food supplies and notify management when supplies are running low - Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient and timely food preparation ```Skills``` - Experience as a cook or in a similar role is preferred but not required - Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary terminology - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail - Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks - Excellent communication and teamwork skills - Flexibility to work in different areas of the kitchen as needed (e.g., prep station, dishwashing) - Knowledge of proper food handling procedures and sanitation guidelines - Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) - Willingness to learn and take direction from supervisors Please note that this position may require working evenings, weekends, and holidays based on the needs of the restaurant.
