Job Description
Summary/Objective
Responsible for the General Ledger, Balance Sheet reconciliations, Payroll reporting, as well as supporting Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable.
Essential Roles
Maintain assigned GL account reconciliations weekly and at month-end.
Generate daily KPI reports for executive and management distribution.
Prepare journal entries based on review of supporting reconciliations and schedules.
Weekly payroll entries, 401k contributions, and various employee deductions.
Manage tax records and payments to multiple states and municipalities.
Maintain prepaid and accrued expense accounts and roll forward schedules.
Perform multiple bank reconciliations and identifying discrepancies in a timely manner.
Creating and updating desktop procedures as a subject matter expert for the Staff Accountant role.
Perform other duties assigned.

Work Environment
The employee may be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration when in production buildings. The noise level in the work environment can be loud.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position requires standing, and walking, and bending. The employee may be required to lift and/or move items up to 20 pounds. Education & Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance, or equivalent practical experience.
A minimum of 3 or more years of progressive accounting experience.
Experience working in a first or second tier ERP accounting system.
Ability to ensure the confidentiality and security of all financial files.
