Job Description
- Design, program, and implement PLC-based control systems for packaging equipment.
- Develop and maintain HMI interfaces for operators to monitor and control manufacturing processes.
- Collaborate with mechanical and electrical engineers to integrate control systems into overall machine designs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to control systems, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Conduct regular inspections and assessments of existing automation systems for upgrades and improvements.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in control and automation technologies.
- Building and machine wiring – 120/240/480V
- Experience in food pant automation or a related field.
- Proven experience in PLC programming (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or similar) and HMI development.
- Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (Profibus, Ethernet/IP, Modbus, etc.).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well in a collaborative team environment.
- Experience in food safety design.
- Master’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field. (preferred)
- Professional Engineer (PE) license. (preferred)
