Schneider Electric is seeking a dynamic individual to serve as a Controls Engineer - Weekend Shift at our Oxford, OH location. Weekend Shift is Thursday 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm and Friday, Saturday, Sunday 6:00 am - 6:00 pm.
What will you do?
- Create automated equipment/machine specifications which includes end of line test equipment
- Work with external suppliers to design and deploy assembly lines, including automated equipment
- Develop, deploy, and debug PLC and HMI programs for automated equipment
- Integrate machines and assembly lines into MIS and plants' digital manufacturing execution systems
What qualifications will make you successful?
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Computer, Robotics Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- 2+ years of experience with PLC programming
- 1+ year of experience in automation industry
- Experience in assembly line equipment design and deployment preferred
