We are seeking an experienced Operational Technology (OT) Engineer to develop and implement OT strategies and ensure the security of our systems.
Qualifications
Responsibilities:
1. Serve as the primary point of contact for all OT activities in the Operational Technology domain.
2. Risk Assessment and Mitigation of OT systems and infrastructure.
3. Assist operations and incident response teams in developing and maintaining incident response plans and playbooks specific to the OT environment
4. Collaborate with the CISO to ensure compliance with industry-specific regulations, provide guidance to internal teams, and assist in regulatory audits and assessments.
5. Raise Security Awareness and educate employees, contractors, and other stakeholders about OT strategy roles and responsibilities, potential threats, best practices, and their role in maintaining a secure OT infrastructure.
6. Vendor Management: evaluate and select vendors and service providers to support OT security initiatives; stablish contractual agreements, service level agreements, and ensure vendors meet security requirements.
7. Act as a liaison between the IT team and other business units to facilitate effective communication and collaboration.
8. Implement projects that align with business and IT objectives.
9. Data mining and transfer from equipment and processes to external tools for processing, trending and other data analysis
10. Management of non-IT systems including but not limited to production processes, automation, audio/video networking, security, etc.

Qualifications
- 1+ Years in a manufacturing environment.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Proven experience working in a similar role, specifically in the Operational Technology.
- Understanding of Operational Technology systems, such as SCADA, PLCs, DCS, and their associated cybersecurity risks and mitigation strategies.
- Experience in connecting machines from the shop floor via IIoT-connectors, OPCUA or MQTT interfaces to MES or other applications.
- Familiarity with relevant industry-specific regulations and standards (e.g., NERC CIP, ISO 27001)
- Experience in coordinating cross-functional teams and managing projects related to OT.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational skills and analytical mindset
- Initiative-taking and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
