Job Title: Controls Engineer- Paint Line Support. We need two individuals to work the shifts above and must be hands on, no supervised.
Location: Springfield, OH (Must be onsite and local)
Hours: Looking for 2 people for these two shifts:
- 6:00 am to 2:30 pm
- 2:00 pm to 11:30 pm
Construction or manufacturing experience to support down equipment. Go to every call, understand why it went down, troubleshoot and make sure it gets fixed/ heavy electrical background
Role Description: You will play a pivotal part in supporting and guiding maintenance personnel completing work that must be done on weekends.
Key Responsibilities: As a key member of our high-performance and well-respected engineering team, your responsibilities will include:
Day-to-day production support:
- Follow up on previous weekends work that remained unfinished.
- Walking jobs in preparation for the upcoming weekend.
- Driving results on the weekend.
- Developing wiring and interconnection diagrams for project installations.
- Updating obsolete machine controls to operate in an automated environment.
- Contributing to energy-efficient solutions and practices.
- Implementing Lean manufacturing principles to optimize processes.
Requirements: To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and experience:
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical for designing and providing support.
- Experience in electrical panel design and construction.
- In-depth knowledge of electrical standards, including National Electric Code (NEC), NFPA, and OSHA regulations.
- A solid background with Robot programming, maintenance, and support, particularly with FANUC and ABB systems.
- Proficiency with Allen Bradley hardware and software, including PLC, HMI, VFD, Motion, Vibration, and Vision technologies.
- Familiarity with industrial SCADA hardware and techniques for data monitoring and control.
- Knowledge of power distribution in an industrial environment, from campus feed to the shop floor.
- Strong project management skills, with experience in leading engineering projects to successful completion.

- An ability to run and complete work with limited support utilizing skilled trades.
