As a Controls Engineer/Technician, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining control systems. Your responsibilities will include:
Control System Design: Develop and design control systems that meet project specifications and industry standards.
Programming: Write and modify control system software for various applications, ensuring optimal functionality.
Installation and Commissioning: Install and commission control systems, collaborating with other engineering teams to ensure seamless integration.
Troubleshooting: Identify and troubleshoot issues with control systems, implementing effective solutions in a timely manner.
Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and updates on control systems to ensure continued reliability and performance.
Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of control system designs, modifications, and maintenance activities.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, project managers, and technicians, to achieve project goals.
Qualifications
Requirements:
Proven experience (5 years) in designing, programming, and maintaining control systems.
Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens), HMI development, and other relevant control technologies.
Servo controls and programming experience
Willing to travel to customers location to troubleshoot
Need to know how to read a tape measure
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of industry-specific standards and regulations.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Willingness to stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends.
