Controls and electronic engineering technician

This position is responsible for the electrical area within the engineering department. This will include such duties as programming, building and maintaining machine controls. Must have PLC programming, Servo's, motor controllers and panel wiring are necessary. This position also provides support to the shop by providing troubleshooting assistance and assisting with other electrical and control issues.

The employee must be capable of doing small project management from inception to completion, including design, procurement of parts, construction, programming and start up. The employee must also work with documentation systems in place and see that related control and electrical documents are maintained.

This position must also work well with others to see projects through in a timely fashion. When necessary, this position will be required to drive on errands to procure parts and supplies or other company business.
