CCG Finance Consulting - Remote Fractional Controller FT

CCG Finance Consulting is a rapidly growing finance consulting company for small to medium-size businesses located in the New England area. CCG Finance Consulting, a division of Crews Consulting Group and is seeking FT Controller. We are looking for someone that is experienced in fractional work, remote.

The ideal candidate will be team-oriented, possess the highest level of integrity, demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, and be focused on adding value to the company. To be successful in this role, you should have in-depth knowledge of general accounting procedures and experience with risk management. Ultimately, you’ll make sure our clients comply with accounting regulations, maximize profits, and mitigate risks. Must be able to jump in, roll up your sleeves!

Responsibilities:

· Perform standard activities performed by a Controller.

· Provide consult and assistance to the firm’s clients, colleagues, and prospects as requested.

· Perform timely and accurate month end close and monthly report preparation.

· Assist or manage the onboarding on new clients.

· Partner with clients to do the following:

o Overcome financial challenges

o Create short- and long-term budget financial forecasts

o Achieve growth and optimize strategy

o Monitor a company’s financial reports and determine ways to reduce costs

o Implement systems, if applicable

o Navigate audits and transactions

o Prepare and attend monthly client finance meetings

· Tracking time and activities spent working for each client.

· Work with multiple clients at a time based on company business needs.

· Attend weekly finance team meetings, as scheduled.

Requirements:

● Bachelor’s degree in a finance related field

● Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Lead Finance/Controller position

● Proven experience as a Controller, finance officer or relevant role

● In-depth knowledge of financial law and risk management practices

● Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods

● Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal and customer service skills

● Great strategic planning, organization, and creative thinking skills

● An analytical mind, comfortable with numbers

● Results-oriented strategic thinker and planner

● QuickBooks Online and other accounting systems - NetSuite, etc.

● Pro in Microsoft Suite, Google Docs/Sheets

● Able to be organized working with multiple clients at a time

● Willing to jump in and assist where needed.

Job Type: Full-time
