Construction Controller Job Description
Responsibilities Include
· Oversee financial operations including AP/AR, job cost accounting and cash flow management.
· Develop and maintain a system of internal accounting controls and financial reporting.
· Budgeting, forecasting and analysis of company finances.
· Work in progress reporting
· Prepare all client invoices and vendor payments on a weekly or daily basis.
· Prepare and track monthly spending for all company departments.
· Approve spending requests from all managers and field employees.
· Monitor daily cash balances to ensure requirements will be met.
· Supervise the payment process to vendors and subcontractors and confirm lien wavers are properly collected.
· Perform special assignments as directed by upper management.
· Create budgets for upper management and manage those budgets to ensure fiscal health and responsibilities.
· Participate in on-going strategic planning with upper management.

· Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Strong knowledge of Excel and “QuickBooks” required.
