Overview
The Finance OperationsControls and Compliance organization looking for a seasoned program manager with cyber security experience to fill our Senior Finance Manager, Controls and Compliance, Finance Operations role in our growing Finance Digital Risk and Resilience team. The team is responsible for driving strategic Controls and Compliance activities at scale within Microsoft's Finance division. We are passionate about technology and innovation, and operate in a highly collaborative environment, partnering heavily with multiple teams across the company. Our scope spans all areas of Microsoft Finance (including Business Operations and Global Workplace Services). We oversee Information Technology (IT) Security & Engineering Fundamentals requirements on Finance-owned digital assets (+500 "Citizen Development" or'Shadow IT" assets), along with Business resilience (+200 processes), and we own the Responsible Artificial Intelligence (AI) program supporting all Finance AI deployments. The Senior Finance Manager, Controls and Compliance, Finance Operations will own initiatives related to operating model optimization and will also be a back-up in support of our Finance cyber security lead with IT Security and cloud compliance in this mission critical and rapidly changing space. Lastly, The Senior Finance Manager, Controls and Compliance, Finance Operations will support our Responsible AI governance function.
The Senior Finance Manager, Controls and Compliance, Finance Operations reports to the Group Finance Manager team lead and will work closely with different functions within and outside of Microsoft Finance and Microsoft Digital organizations - Digital Security & Resilience (DS&R), Engineering Fundamentals, Audit, Risk and Compliance (ARC), and Controls & Compliance (C&C) partners

Responsibilities
  • Program Management oversight over the Security and Engineering Fundamentals areas, driving coordinated Rhythm of Business, running key meetings, creating/delivering key communications, collaborating with area leads, managing and reporting on operating metrics.
  • Overseeing the portfolio of the Finance Digital Risk and Resilience team's initiatives (~5-10) including project plans, timelines, milestones, financial management, performance metrics, and resource needs.
  • Own and drive initiatives related to operating model optimization, and other areas, as necessary.
  • Support the Finance Cyber Security Lead with IT security and cloud compliance run activities.
  • Supporting our Responsible AI program development and run.

Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations, Finance or related field AND 4+ years' work experience in program management, process management, process improvement
    • OR equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Relevant IT Security Certifications, compliance, or professional certifications (Project Mangement Professional (PMP),Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Systems Information Auditor (CISA),Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)).
  • Knowledge of security and data governance technologies applicable to cloud platforms (Azure preferred).
  • Ability to evaluate security and engineering requirements, perform gap assessments and develop remediation plans.
  • Experience with compliance measurement systems, compliance scorecards or other vehicles to report compliance results.
  • Attention to detail & a focus on execution, and experience in strategic planning & proficient business acumen.
  • Written and verbal communication skills, with experience in landing executive level compliance training and communications combining business objectives and technical requirements.
  • Capable of ndividual contribution and influence across non-direct reporting teams.
  • Other audit, compliance, or privacy professional/industry certifications (Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP), etc.)

Business Program Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $91,800 - $178,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $117,900 - $195,000 per year.
