Controller

Parsec Automation is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Controller to join our dynamic team in Anaheim, CA. You will undertake all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, lender and sponsor reporting, audit, technical accounting with an emphasis on revenue recognition, tax and internal control policies and procedures. You will lead a team of accountants and other professionals to ensure transparency in the company's Financial Statements to be filed with Parsec's lenders and our sponsor, BVP Forge, and other parties. You will bring a strong financial acumen, leadership skills, and a passion for building the accounting and finance infrastructure and for driving financial success at a rapidly growing software company.

What you will do:

• Planning, directing, and guiding the company's Accounting and reporting functions
• Managing the accumulation and consolidation of all financial data necessary for an accurate accounting of consolidated business results
• Works on complex issues related to financial reporting, both internal and external
• Collaborate with senior management across the organization to identify and resolve significant accounting and reporting topics in contracts and agreements
• Act as the advisor for senior management's compliance with required GAAP, EU, state and other regulatory filings. Oversee all regulatory reporting.
• Coordinate and manage activities of external auditors
• Providing management with information vital to the decision-making process
• Guides the Accounting team, facilitating change management leadership and recommendations for implementing new processes
• Protects assets by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing internal controls.
• Evaluating the effectiveness of accounting software and supporting systems, as needed
• Hiring, training and retaining skilled accounting staff

Who you are:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred).
• 10+ years of experience as a Controller or in a similar financial leadership role.
• Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements including ASC606.
• Experience in implementing and enhancing NetSuite
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication and leadership abilities.
• Experience working in a private equity backed software company
• Advanced proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
