As the Controller, you will be managing the accounting staff, overseeing and performing the general accounting function, monitor internal compliance, adhere to the budget, assist with internal audits, prepare a fixed asset report, and complete additional accounting related tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Interpret and Analyze Financial Statements and Assist Department Managers to do the Same While Creating an Action Plan Needed to Improve their Operation
• Ensure the Books are Closed Accurately Each Month by Scheduling a Month-Close
• DMS Maintenance and Audit
• Maintain Chart of Accounts
• Ensure Office Manager is trained on tasks they are responsible for
• Plan for staffing changes and schedules (promotions, growth, turnover, PTO)
• Add new accounts
• Add account to DOC, Financial Statements, etc.
• Prepare Year-End Adjusting Entries
• Internal audit
• Sales Tax
• Compliance
• Account Postings
• Manage and Safeguard the Stores Assets and Ensure that Internal Controls Are In Place
• Collaborate with Executive Staff

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of relevant experience, including an established record of success in supervisory/managerial positions.
• Strong knowledge of internal controls and financial reporting in Automotive accounting
• Excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• CDK experience preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $140,000.00 per year
