To create specific communication network drawings, PLC I/O drawings, point to point wiring diagrams and back pan and communication cabinet layouts for SCADA systems.
Job Requirements
- Produce and check communication network drawings.
- Produce and check point-to-point wiring diagrams from PLC cut sheet information.
- Enter bills of materials on project by project basis.
- Enter new parts in Oracle.
- Create communication cabinet layout drawings for manufacture by third party vendors.
- Assist with and help solve problems with other engineering personnel.
Job Requirements
- High School Graduate or GED.
- AAS degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Technology or related area.
- 0-2 years of experience in an Engineering role.
- Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and written.
- Basic computer skills using Oracle, Word, Excel, & Outlook.
- Ability to order material electronically.
- Basic Drafting/CAD skills.
- Basic understanding of communication theory.
- Able to read, interpret, and modify; electrical symbols, characters, and drawings.
- Create simple wiring diagrams.
- Transmit technical drawings.
- Update drawings per engineering and/or customer markups with direction from engineering personnel, and transmit drawings to shop and customer.
- Attend in house and outside training sessions.
- Learn policies and procedures, work instruction, ISO policies, Safety Rules and Regulations, and vendor products.
