Expedium Consulting is expanding its technical consulting teams and is seeking excellent junior and senior OT engineers and Automation/Control System engineers with proven experience in real-time systems as well as specific Transmission, Distribution, Generation, Distributed Energy Resources, and Renewable Energy control room applications. Our staff has the opportunity to contribute to the collaborative system design, implementation, testing, and validation of deployments of control room software applications for our client utilities. What are the must-have qualifications for a candidate?

• Engineering degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Computer or Software Engineering.
• Experience with Control System implementation and deployments for control room operations. A minimum of 5 years of recent experience is required. We have several openings at all levels of experience.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both verbally and in writing to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Demonstrated intermediate organizational and prioritization skills; ability to handle multiple priorities of low-to-average impact and risk within specified timeframes.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with all team members.
• Knowledge of specific real-time control room applications, such as SCADA, ADMS, EMS, GMS, GIS, Substation Automation, Protection, or Power System Analysis background for specialized Applications competencies.
• Knowledge of programming in Python, and familiarity with Business Intelligence applications, SQL, GIS/CAD, is preferred.
• Openness to travel domestically and internationally as required. Estimated travel depends on assignments and can range from 20% to 40%. We can accommodate all employee situations regarding travel time.
