Job Summary
Westat is seeking a Contracts Compliance Administrator to join our Corporate Contracts Compliance team. This role will support a team of professionals responsible for managing internal business processes and reporting tools that support compliance and minimize organizational risk. The ideal candidate should be a problem solver and critical thinker who is adept at using various technology platforms and enjoys working with large datasets to provide insight and drive business decisions.
Job Responsibilities
- Support contract compliance activities, including the development, maintenance, and support of:
o External US Government systems, including System for Award Management (SAM)
o Corporate representations and certifications
o Past performance and report monitoring (CPARS)
o Government property
o Closeouts
- Provide regular updates on corporate activities by maintaining and updating trackers, compiling, and analyzing data, and preparing/distributing recurring status reports.
- Ensure adherence to, and the upholding of the integrity of corporate and government compliance, including meeting reporting and audit deadlines.
- Coordinate with internal departments and functions, including Accounting, Business Development, Finance and Legal.
- Collaborate with a team of compliance-focused contract administrators and specialists.
- Participate in special projects and group process improvement efforts.
Basic Qualifications
- Typically requires a bachelor's degree and 4 years of experience in federal government contracting and compliance or equivalent related work experience.
- Demonstrated analytical, project delivery, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to be a self-starter and show a high level of initiative.
- Experience with MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience using team collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Deltek products, including Costpoint.
- Knowledge and/or experience in government or commercial contracting.
