Serco supports the Navy for their Amphibious Warfare Program; specifically Business Financial Management (BFM) Support. The BFM team supports the Financial Management Division in support of the Landing, Helicopter, Assault (LHA).
This position is contingent upon your ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret level clearance post-employment.
You will be part of a 14-person Business Financial/Contracts Management/Earn Value Management/Acquisition Reporting team consisting of senior, mid and junior level analysts that works closely with the customer in delivering quality products and services to the Principal Acquisition Program Manager.
In this role you will:
- Directly support the Senior Contract Management Lead Analyst (contractor team) and Lead LHA Business Financial Manager Analyst in support of Government LHA (R) and PMS377 BFM Principal Acquisition Program Manager (PAPM) on shipbuilding contract analysis, tracking and reconciliation including (but not limited to):
- Maintain Contract Reconciliation Report (CRR) for LHA (R) hulls under contract that tracks funds execution to the CLIN, Sub CLIN ARCN, FY and appropriation level of detail.
- Review Defense Contract Accountability Service (DCAS) contract payment reports and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) execution status reports for commitments, obligations and expenditures.
- Monitor shipbuilding contract funding in ERP by the line of accounting detail at the CLIN, Sub CLIN and ACRN level compared to amount of funding allocated to contract. Identify issues and recommend corrections.
- Perform comparative analysis of all shipbuilding contract deliverables, A and P modifications, reports and databases to identify inconsistencies and/or errors.
- Prepare funding documents in the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) accounting database and submit to cognizant sponsoring organizations for processing; track the funding documents through the process to completion and Program Analyst (PA) acceptance.
- Identify expiring funds. Engage government PAs to determine if funds are available for recoupment, and prepare plan for recoupment of funds and realignment as applicable.
- Maintain proficiency in Enterprise Resource Planning Program (ERP), Computer Optimized Batch Reconciliation Application (COBRA), Program/Budget Information System (PBIS), NAVSEA Enterprise Planning System (NEPS), and Electronic Data Access (EDA).
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Bachelor's degree and 0 to 2 years relevant experience.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain active DoD Secret clearance post-employment.
- Strong customer, organizational level communication (written and verbal), and interpersonal skills are essential to being successful in this role.
- Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite to include, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Detailed oriented.
- 10% travel required.
