Contract Video Producer

We are looking for a goal-oriented and organized Video Producer to help manage video projects from inception to completion. The IDC Custom Solutions Video Producer is responsible for providing support to the global video production and post-production team of the Custom Solutions Digital Content & Creative Service function at IDC. This includes assisting strategies and tactics to fulfill Company’s video production, video editing and motion graphics content marketing needs for use across all customer touch points including client content marketing, social, and developing platforms, as well as internal projects related to ongoing marketing, sales, events, and human resources video projects.

This position is based in IDC’s Needham Massachusetts office with a hybrid schedule (minimum of two days per week on site).  The role is 20 hours/week. The successful candidate will be hired through Magnit (formerly ProUnlimited) on assignment to IDC.   The assignment will be from January - April 2024. 

• Aligning content goals and execution with Brand, Client content needs and script development.
• Working cross-functionally across multiple levels of the company, the Video Producer is responsible for assisting the direction and evolution of pre-produced video content and it’s utilization for specific business goals.
• Adhere to the creative direction and aesthetic for video production across corporate platforms.
• Responsible for establishing, measuring and reacting to predefined goals including data like views, engagement, sales and customer experience.
• Ability in identifying, evaluating and addressing continuous improvement of workflow process opportunities.
• Partnering with the Custom Solutions Project Managers to ensure client goals are met and content is delivered on time
• Assist corporate video studio for onsite recording plus developing and deploying mobile video and remote video capability
• Ensure compliant application of Company practices with regard to on-camera talent, shoot locations, crew travel and production expenses.
• Operate with a high level of autonomy and uses independent judgment and creativity to deliver key business results.
• Partner with a motivated team of global content specialists in writing, directing, producing, videography, lighting, motion graphics, editing and sound design
• Research and testing of new equipment, ensuring efficiency in producing defined content as well as establishing equipment needs for developing platforms.
• Establish technical equipment priorities in concert with functional partners to drive tech improvements across studio yielding increased productivity, cost savings and enhanced workflow.

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Communications, Journalism, Video Production, Film or related fields
• 5+ years creative leadership experience with passion for new technology
• Editing experience with Final Cut Pro and/or Adobe Creative Suite
• Familiarity with livestream and broadcast technologies
• Well rounded portfolio required showing work demonstrating the ability to lead video content creation across platforms supporting multiple product categories and marketing strategies.
• Expertise delivering creative video content, strategy and direction for: Web - Company website, client video requirements, Email, Social (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc...)
• Deep technical understanding acting as a SME on the power of technology on creative execution, customer experiences and efficiency.
• Operates with effective, well-balanced combination of strong functional expertise and organizational savvy to drive and deliver key business results
• Expert knowledge of non-live video and film production from concept through completion
• Ability to provide concrete creative direction defining success for corporate teams
• Dynamic, creative personality, effectively engaging in influencing the organization
