Contract Master Data Administrator

Overview
Allied Reliability is seeking an experienced Master Data Administrator for a 3 to 6 month contract assignment with one of our top tier clients in the food and beverage manufacturing industry. This position is a hybrid role with work from home days on Monday and Friday and required in-office work days on Tuesdays through Thursdays. This opportunity requires previous experience and the candidate must be local to the Green Bay, WI area.
The Material Master Data Administrator is responsible for providing research, analytical support for data requirements. Review processes and update according to tasks performed in ERP software. The administrator will also perform data quality reviews of material master set-up. This position reports to the Manager, Material Master Data.

Responsibilities

• Data Quality Measures, Controls, & Reporting
  • Provides research, analytical, and reporting support for Material Data Governance issues and processes.
  • Responsible for validating data quality rules and Master Data results for inconsistencies.
  • Supports the efforts to identify and correct data anomalies (e.g., assists with data profiling, including data gaps, invalid values).
  • Participates in data quality reviews and provides feedback.
  • Review ad hoc reporting as needed.

• Standards, Policies, & Processes
  • Maintains data policies and standards, in conjunction with data owners and data stewards.
  • Escalates issues to the data domain manager.
  • Communicates security risks and solutions to business partners and IT staff.
  • Review standard operating procedures targeting Master Data specific areas of improvement.
  • Assists in resolving data quality problems.

• Training & Document Repository Management
  • Review and critique SOPs, Data Dictionaries, Job Aids, workflow diagrams/instructions, etc.

Qualifications

• High School / Post High School work experience
• Ability to research websites, collect and record data
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills preferred
• Understanding of an ERP system; SAP preferred
• Ability to work independently
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Teams) preferred
• Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Functional communication skills (formal and informal) with business acumen and ability to communicate within all levels of the organization.
