HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE TO OUR TEAM(Overview & Key Responsibilities):
The Temporary Lab Technician will be responsible for the timely analytical testing of incoming samples for our Fluid Analysis program. The primary function will be to test samples, maintain instruments, and maintain orderly sample flow through the Fluid Analysis program. They will be responsible for performing various physical and chemical test methods at the direction of senior technical staff and will work closely with others in the Product Development team. They will additionally be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working environment within the laboratory.
- Function within the guidelines of the Lube-Tech "Team Ground Rules" and Mission Statement
- Perform routine condition monitoring testing
- Perform routine instrument maintenance
- Open and organize incoming samples
- Document test results
- Help to maintain a clean lab environment
- Perform other duties as needed or assigned by senior laboratory staff
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED (Minimum Qualifications):
- College graduate with a bachelor's degree in science or engineering, chemistry preferred
- Requires an individual who engages in safe laboratory practices
- Requires strong oral, written, analytical, and interpersonal skills
- Requires the ability to effectively communicate laboratory testing.
- Requires the ability to organize work and manage multiple priorities to meet deadlines
- A basic knowledge of lubricants and testing experience is preferred
