Responsibilities:

• Support the project manager in overseeing IT Projects from the analysis to completion and manage smaller projects independently
• Assist in developing and maintaining project schedules, budgets and resources
• Coordinate project activities with the project team and support identification of risks and issues
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Business Analysts and Developers
• Provide regular project updates and contribute to effective communication with the stakeholders
• Support the team with incoming requests from operations teams or other stakeholders

Skills:

• Requires expertise in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall); PMP is a plus
• 3+ years of project management/PMO experience
• Strong understanding of financial services industry (Securities, Derivatives, Fixed Income)
• Aptitude to understand complex and technical concepts
• Ability to successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously
• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and highly organized
• Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, Project)
• Knowledge of tools such as Confluence and JIRA
