We are seeking a skilled and experienced Interpreter with a passion for language and helping people, so join our team and make money on your own time doing what you love!
We deal with various types of interpretation: Consecutive, Simultaneous, On-Site, Over-The-Phone, Remote Video, etc.
Responsibilities:
- Interpret spoken language skillfully and efficiently
- Ensure the interpretation maintains the same meaning and tone
- Research or be familiar with industry-specific terminology
- Be punctual, communicative, and cooperative to meet job requirements
- Ask for clarification when something is unclear or if there could be multiple interpretations
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
Requirements:
- Must be Bilingual or Multilingual, with professional proficiency in at least 2 languages
- Proven education/certifications and/or relevant interpreting experience
- Excellent verbal communication skills in both source and target languages
- Excellent attention to detail with grammar, pronunciation, articulation, etc.
- Skillful note taking or memorization
- Ability to work independently
- Must be able to pass an interpretation evaluation
