Contract Hubspot Web Developer (Part-Time, Remote)

Pepperland Marketing is looking for a skilled and dedicated Contract HubSpot Web Developer to join our team for a 12-month contract, with the potential for renewal. This position is ideal for a developer with a deep understanding of the HubSpot platform and a passion for web development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and enhance HubSpot CMS themes, including building new themes, enhancing existing ones, and fixing bugs.
• Create new theme-agnostic modules for diverse client needs.
• Work collaboratively with our small, accessible, and collaborative team of developers and marketers.
• Manage tasks using Teamwork Project Management, track time, and adhere to project timelines and estimates.

Technical Requirements:

• 2+ years of front-end web development experience.
• 1+ year of experience in HubSpot CMS development.
• HubSpot CMS for Developers Certification.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, HubL, and HubDB.
• Strong experience with Git, GitHub, GitHub Actions, and VS Code.

Work Environment & Collaboration:

• Remote work with a requirement to be available during Eastern Time Zone hours (9am-3:30pm), with flexibility and advance notice.
• Utilize Google Chat, Meet, GitHub, and Google Docs for collaboration and documentation.
• Opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including new developments and enhancements.

Contract & Compensation:

• 12-month contract with possibility of renewal.
• Pay is monthly on NET30 terms following receipt of a detailed invoice.
• Invoiced hours must be logged and accounted for in Teamwork.

Evaluation & Expectations:

• Performance based on task completion, code acceptance, skill, and overall impact.
• Adherence to documented development workflow and guidelines is crucial.
• Contractors expected to have a suitable home office setup, including a strong internet connection and effective equipment.
