What You Will Achieve
The Continuous Improvement (CI) Specialist is accountable for the CI process at Pleasant Prairie Logistics Center (PPLC). This includes driving process improvements, CI initiatives and investigations that support operational excellence & productivity enhancements.
The CI Specialist will also set-up, support and sustain Tier 2 and Tier 1 IMEx Ecosystems to enable performance at the PPLC.
How You Will Achieve It
Lead CI process and execute responsibilities in operating standard:
  • Lead the CI discussion
  • Partner with Regional and GSC CI Specialists to share and establish best-in-class Logistics Operations Processes
  • Facilitate alignment of processes and standard work
  • Through the IMEx CI loop process, facilitate and support CI project prioritization
  • Develop operational excellence capabilities
  • Train and coach teams on GSC IMEx Ecosystem Standards
  • Enable consistent approach to performance goals, CI Loop & Visual Management processes
  • Work with Process Centric Team (PCT) to update standard work after CI loop
  • Serve as the point of contact, together with SMEs, for other PCTs to share losses and best practices
  • Train and coach the team on problem solving and root cause analysis tools
  • Use lean principles to support the development and Continuous Improvement of standard works
  • Participate, drive, and contribute to Visual Management meetings
  • Collaborate with the Enabling support roles to best support the PCT operations and CI process
  • Conduct structured GEMBA together with PCT leads to confirm IMEx Ecosystem standard adherence, process confirmation, and to identify CI opportunities
  • Act as Subject Matter Expert for Digital Operations Center (DOC) at site; train and support DOC user
  • Ensure Quality investigations are conducted thoroughly, within required timelines and to compliance requirements. Support Corrective and Preventative Actions (CAPA) so they are progressed quickly to completion
  • Contribute to Site Master Plan, a 5-year strategic plan for the PPLC.

Support installation of IMEx Ecosystem to PCTs:
  • Support PCT lead to install Ecosystem
  • Build PCT Capabilities by providing Education, coaching & Guidance
  • PCT Immersion
  • Application Workshop (design, prep, material delivery, etc.)
  • Support through Coaching & Managing Change
  • Provide feedback support to above site GSC IMEx Ecosystem program (i.e. health checks, Standards & Guidebooks)

Qualifications
Must-Have
  • High School Diploma (or Equivalent) and 8 years of relevant experience.
  • Associates degree with 6 years of experience
  • Bachelors with at least 3 years of experience
  • Masters with more than 1 year of experience.
  • Experience in partnering with multiple supply chain functions understanding requirements and supporting supply & logistics business needs & strategy.
  • Extensive quantitative and analytical skills with experience in process improvement.
  • Demonstrated ability in integrating business knowledge with analytical insight.
  • Strong leadership qualities including interpersonal, communication, organizational, and analytical skills
  • Must have demonstrated consultative, influencing, analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills. Strong oral and written communication, and presentation skills are required.
  • Ability to interact and build effective relationships at all levels of the organization and across geographies and cultures.
  • Must be fluent in English (oral and written)

Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of supply chain planning processes & technology
  • Curiosity / Passion around supply chain planning innovation
  • Change management experience in a complex multi-national organization
  • Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma experience/certification

NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS
  • Flexibility to participate to meetings outside of normal business hours
  • Work Location Assignment: On Premise colleagues work in a Pfizer site because it's needed to get their job done. They may have flexibility to work remotely from time to time, but they are primarily on-site.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $75,700.00 to $126,300.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer's Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 10.0% of the base salary.
