Reporting to the Accounting Manager, the Accountant will be responsible for the statutory accounting and financial controls and processes, ensuring accuracy of the financial data for Government Services legal entities well as working with Regional Finance and GSS to ensure the accuracy of Government Services sub-locations included in other Regional legal entities.
The Accountant will be responsible for providing audit support, preparing complex accruals, CAPEX management, and tax expense calculation. In addition he/she will also be responsible for maintaining effective communication with the FP&A team and other key stakeholders to ensure a timely and accurate closing process. The Accountant is responsible for the financial systems, accounting processes and the accuracy of the data contained within to support General Accounting & Tax compliance.
Ensure timely, accurate and complete recording of transactions, to include P&L review and Balance Sheet review and account reconciliations
Support the month end and year end close process
Support of year-end financial audit, tax audit, and transfer pricing review
Work closely with FP&A team and provide timely reporting and details of actual for budget and forecast comparison and analysis
Support process improvements efforts and documentation of workflows for overall Global Government Services
Ad hoc analysis and special projects.
Ensure compliance to General Affairs Policy and Procedures (GAPP).
Ensure compliance of accounting/reporting treatment in line with Group requirements, including treatment for new products.
Ensure adherence to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), local accounting and tax standards.
Ensure compliance in accounting / reporting treatments in line with Group requirements
Support the maintenance of Government compliant accounting system processes
Assist in Identification, development and implementation of system / process efficiencies to optimize processes and ensure proper internal controls and CAS compliance.

2 years of relevant experience
Experience in accounting systems, policies and procedures, and accounting and audit in a multinational organization.
Prior exposure in audit and accounting from one of the big 4 preferred.
Multinational Company experience in a fast paced service environment

Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field
Strong Microsoft Excel background including pivot tables and complex formulas
