Danfoss Business System (DBS) is looking for a Continuous Improvement Project Lead (Navigator) to lead projects in the EMEA region with a focus on Indirect Cost optimization across Danfoss factories.
As part of our growing team, you will be leading projects of up to 6 months duration, to achieve strong contribution margin improvements by reducing the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) within Indirect Cost (MRO, Transport & Logistics, Packaging, Energy & Utilities).
We are a global company with more than 100 factories all over the world. The job requires that you have the flexibility and willingness to travel approx. 60% of the time and to work in all our factories within your region. When not traveling, you will have the flexibility to be working from one of our offices or home.
This is a remote position and the best candidate can be located anywhere in the United States of America.
In this role, you will work in close collaboration with stakeholders in the factories and Danfoss support functions like Procurement, Freight Management, Logistics departments, etc. as well as Suppliers. You will be working in a multicultural environment with highly competent colleagues, running projects and driving change management initiatives resulting in a reduction of the Indirect Cost in our factories.
Your main responsibilities include:
Project Lead of cross-functional projects to identify and implement Indirect Cost optimization potentials
Secure buy-in from stakeholders, analyzing data, scope definition, defining the project team
Support in preparing business cases and creating tactical implementation plans (TIP)
Drive Performance Management (PMS) to ensure timely execution to achieve agreed targets, provide corrective actions if needed, and report to Management
Promote a culture of sustainable change and a productivity-driven mindset within our organization
You will act as a partner to our manufacturing and supply chain leaders to elevate a culture of high performance and Continuous Improvement with a focus on safety, quality, delivery, and cost across the entire value chain.
As part of a global network in DBS, you will search and share best practices and enroll in Danfoss standards proactively as a DBS Ambassador.

To be considered for this position, we expect that you bring a minimum of 7 years of experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, and/or Continuous Improvement in a performance-driven organization or consulting. You come from a manufacturing environment of a large or medium-sized organization.
The successful candidate has a track record of hands-on experience in implementing change management projects resulting in lower cost. The candidate acts as an inspirational leader with both commercial and technical knowledge in driving costs down. You are excellent at building rapport and confidence with peers and management.
