Content Writer

BuildIdaho.com is seeking an expert Content Writer to produce thoughtful and engaging original written content for our real estate team. The content will be centered around driving website traffic through client communication, building web pages, creating engaging Blog content, creating funnels, SEO, digital marketing, video scripts, and more. We are seeking someone who loves looking at houses, interior design, living in Southern Idaho, and can research technical aspects of being a real estate agent. 

This job is a great opportunity to learn more about the local real estate industry as well as build upon your content creation, web design, and SEO skills. We are seeking someone eager to grow in their career and passionate about writing great content and being able to re-publish and re-purpose it across multiple platforms. This is a full-time, in-office, position.

$40,000 - $44,000 yearly

• SEO: Optimize the local organic presence for our website through technical SEO, content optimization, backlink building, Google Business Profiles, Social Media posts, and more.
• Content: Creating high-quality, engaging, SEO-optimized content. Content loved by website visitors, clients, industry professionals, and Google.
• Video Scripts for onsite community tours or voiceovers, for example.
• Analysis: Building internal performance dashboards, and setting up analytics and reporting platforms.
• Develop new and innovative SEO and content strategies. Provide analysis recommendations to improve SEO, content, business, marketing, and data management.
• The chosen candidate will collaborate closely with our team to ensure our website accurately represents our brand and meets our business objectives.
• Additionally, our writer is responsible for running our Matterport camera to capture Virtual Tours of Build Idaho’s listings and help write listing descriptions with agents.

• Must live within 30 miles of Boise, Idaho.
• Familiar with the area. We are looking for someone who can share local knowledge.
• To excel in this role, you must have an excellent grasp of English grammar, punctuation, spelling, and style. You can use AI to help, but Not to write the copy.
• Solid understanding of core SEO principles and the ability to implement technical SEO.
• A good understanding of basic web design, HTML, CSS, Schema Structured Data, and URL and domain structure.
