Job Summary:

Duties/Responsibilities:
- Support the marketing team in planning, creating, and managing marketing content and messaging across all platforms, including advertising, website, social, and more.
- Deliver, from concept to completion, thought leadership pieces such as white papers, case studies, success stories, articles, press releases, and more.
- Manage public relations by writing and editing press releases, brochures, presentations, newsletters, website articles, and social media content. Connect with and monitor media outlets, blogs, press mentions, sponsored content, and social media. Leverage and repurpose content in Nelson-Jameson's owned media.
- Participate in the evaluation and improvement of current processes for copywriting, content management, product copy, and database content management through PIM.
- Lead SEO keyword and topic research. Establish relevant benchmarks to measure the impact of content across all channels and mediums.
- Monitor and report on competitive activity, trends, and best practices in marketing communications and messaging.
- Partner with marketing, product, and sales to deliver effective content strategies to meet company objectives.
- Manage, mentor, and develop a small team of writers. Work with the team to set and meet goals and support the professional growth of each team member.
- Support the company and marketing team in other duties and projects as assigned.
Required Education, Skills, and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related experience
- 5+ years of experience in content management experience or relevant in-house setting
- B2B writing examples required
- Expert understanding of Search Engine Optimization, and SEO principles and tools.
- Ability to communicate clearly and succinctly with excellent business writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
Preferred Education, Skills, and Experience:
- Background in food safety, food technology, or dairy industry
- Experience managing and optimizing online product catalog content
- Experience leading and developing a team
