Job Description
As a Content Coordinator specializing in New Programs at Chegg Skills, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the editing, QA, and release of cutting-edge educational content. You will be a key contributor to the Instructional Design & Development team, collaborating with instructional designers, technical editors, content production and QA specialists, project managers, media producers, and cross-functional stakeholders to bring innovative learning experiences to life.
This position requires content coordination expertise, technical understanding, communication skills, and a passion for tools and tricks that drive consistency within content with multiple authors.
The Coordinator must be able to delegate work to a team of contract editors, content producers, and QA specialists clearly and monitor and share updates on their progress regularly. They will work closely with others on the Content Operations team to optimize plans and processes for building New Programs that balance quality, time, and resources.

Job Description
As a Content Coordinator specializing in New Programs at Chegg Skills, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the editing, QA, and release of cutting-edge educational content. The Coordinator must be able to delegate work to a team of contract editors, content producers, and QA specialists clearly and monitor and share updates on their progress regularly. They will work closely with others on the Content Operations team to optimize plans and processes for building New Programs that balance quality, time, and resources.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the project manager, instructional designers, SMEs, media producers, technical editors, and QA specialists, to enable the editing, production, and publication of several New Programs at once
- Create and maintain models and templates for content developers to ensure structural consistency, both within and across programs, and alignment with technical requirements of a CMS
- Document and facilitate trainings on processes for building, migrating content to, and/or publishing new or adapted learning components
- Partner with the project manager to streamline the handoff of new curriculum content from content developers to the Content Operations team
- Provide regular updates on new program development progress to project manager and other stakeholders
- Support Content Operations team on process changes; identify pain points and problems inhibiting efficient or quality content production and implement scalable solutions, incorporating AI where appropriate
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in a role that blends digital content production and project management; could be web or digital content manager, content producer, LMS or CMS administrator, media editor, managing editor, or adjacent role
- Familiarity with and comfort engaging with a CMS or LMS; previous experience working with specialized content and configurations
- Experience working as an editor or in quality assurance; should have strong editorial instincts and an eye for detail
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Exceptional time-management and organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining content accuracy
- Ability to adapt to evolving industry standards and technologies
- Flexible hours to accommodate varying workloads
